RSVP for Planning Forums

Stony Brook University faculty, staff and students are invited to attend two additional Project REACH strategic planning forums.

Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Carl Lejuez will provide updates on the planning process, solicit feedback on the path forward, discuss characteristics of the plan and what impact the plan will have on the university's long-term trajectory.

The forums will be held Thursday, October 27 from 12-1 p.m. in the Union Ballroom, and Monday, October 31 from 3-4 p.m. in the MART Auditorium. The second forum will include a Zoom option that will be sent to all attendees who reserve a seat.

"Stony Brook has proven that it is the kind of university that has the vision and capacity to build a better future...and just as we return, again and again, to reaffirm our commitment to our mission, we must also join together as one University to configure our ambitions for the twenty-first century.

Our institution…yesterday, today, and tomorrow…is a University of dreaming big, of expanding the reach of discovery, and creating knowledge for the benefit of society."

— Stony Brook University President Maurie McInnis

Strategic planning is vital to any institution as it sets priorities, allocates resources, creates common goals, and measures progress. At Stony Brook, we’re reimagining strategic planning by breaking down traditional silos to engage each and every member of our community in envisioning the Stony Brook of tomorrow.
