Life under the COVID-19 lockdown inspired Portland animator Jerold Howard to create “Quarantine Kat""—an animated character that channels Howard's daily struggles at home: from balancing the mundane with the profound, to the temptations of excessive snacking. While the “Quarantine Kat” cartoon was created before the tragic killing of George Floyd, Jerold Howard wishes to express his condolences to the friends and family of Mr. Floyd and stands with those demanding justice for all the victims of violent racists. OPB reporters and photographers are capturing “Postcards from the Pandemic” to document the lived experience of people in the Northwest during this historic and unusual time. Also watch: “See The Truth” (2001), Jerold Howard’s animated short film that takes a light-hearted look at perception and bias as it's passed through generations of a family.    • See The Truth   Subscribe to our channel for new OPB videos every week: https://www.youtube.com/opb?sub_confi...
