Pilgrimage lineup: Zach Bryan, Lumineers headline 2023 festival

You can bet that quite a few of Zach Bryan's devout fans will "Make The Pilgrimage" to Franklin, Tenn. this fall.

The wildly popular, self-made country/rock singer-songwriter will headline the 2023 Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival, which takes place at The Park at Harlinsdale on September 23 and 24.

Bryan headlines the second night of the Americana-fueled fest alongside Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, while folk-pop mainstays The Lumineers and reunited southern rockers The Black Crowes top the bill on night one.

Other acts include Ashley McBryde, The Head And The Heart, Margo Price, Yola, Luke Grimes, James Bay, Hailey Whitters, Boy Named Banjo, Ian Munsick, The War and Treaty and Patrick Droney, as well as perennial favorites Better Than Ezra — fronted by Pilgrimage co-founder Kevin Griffin.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. CT Thursday at PilgrimageFestival.com. Both single-day and weekend passes will be available for purchase, plus VIP packages and parking passes.

Kevin Griffin stands in front of the The Nashville Sign featuring the 2023 Pilgrimage Festival at the West End and Broadway split, Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

Pilgrimage has booked plenty of big names over its nine-year run, from Justin Timberlake (also a co-producer of the event) to Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile and The Killers.

But Bryan — a 26-year-old Navy vet turned organic country phenomenon — might prove to be the fest's biggest draw since Timberlake brought out record crowds in 2017. His 2022 major label debut "American Heartbreak" is closing in on platinum status, and he'll spend the summer headlining arenas across the U.S.
