I hope this message finds you staying cool during these hot summer days. As we approach Independence Day, I am happy to announce that in addition to being closed July 4, UTA will be closed July 3, in recognition of the holiday.
This decision serves as a small token of gratitude for the immense efforts each of you invests in ensuring we are an institution of excellence. You are the driving force behind the progress we continue to make. This occasion allows us to celebrate not only our nation's independence but also the independence of thought and pursuit of knowledge that our university embodies.
Recording the July 3 holiday hours in TCP
The Office of Talent, Culture, and Inclusion has prepared instructions for managers and employees on how to record the holiday hours in TCP.
Campus Recreation, UTA Libraries, the University Center and Commons, Dining Services, and Parking and Transportation Services have posted their service hours for the holiday release and the ensuing holiday break. Any additional operations updates will be shared via MavWire.
I encourage you to embrace this moment of respite, whether by spending time with loved ones, pursuing personal hobbies, or simply taking a well-deserved break. Let us reflect upon the impact we make every day in shaping the lives of countless individuals.
