About the Education Impact Series

The Education Impact Series is bringing together leaders and community members to discuss the impact of K-12 student achievement on every facet of society. The summits will focus heavily on the ties between public education and other critical public policy areas in Tennessee – national security and the military, agriculture, health, economic growth, and criminal justice. The Education Impact Series will aim to inform attendees and inspire them to work every day for greater K-12 student achievement.

Organized by

The State Collaborative on Reforming Education (SCORE) drives collaboration on policy and practice to ensure student success across Tennessee. We are an independent, nonprofit, and nonpartisan advocacy and research institution, founded in 2009 by Senator Bill Frist, MD, former U.S. Senate Majority Leader.

SCORE works collaboratively to support K-12 education throughout Tennessee, and we measure our success by the academic growth of Tennessee’s students.
