Please note that this email correspondence will be distributed to the Commission prior to the hearing on this item if it is received by 5pm on the Friday before the hearing. If it is received after that time, then it will not be distributed to the Commission.
We strongly encourage anyone wishing to speak to submit a request to speak by 5 pm the day before the hearing item.
The March 2020 meeting of the Coastal Commission will proceed as scheduled. Commission staff are closely monitoring emerging information regarding the spread of the Coronavirus Disease in California and are following the recommendations of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). We strongly encourage all meeting participants to follow the guidance on general health and safety best practices from CDPH:
* Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.
* Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or sleeve, then throw the tissue in the trash.
* Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
* Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
* Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects daily.
* Minimize hand shaking or hugging.
