Country music upstart Lakeview raises a glass to Nashville's struggling service industry in a music video for the group's latest song, "She Drove Me To The Bar."

In the video, Lakeview cruises through familiar Nashville entertainment hubs and soaks up the city skyline at sunset — but not before calling attention to the "resilience" shown by local bars since the Middle Tennessee tornadoes and COVID-19 pandemic.

With on-camera testimonial from those impacted by the tornadoes and pandemic, the duo highlights two favorite watering holes: Tin Roof 2 in Franklin and Fox Bar & Cocktail Lounge in East Nashville.

“We’ve seen firsthand the massive impact the tornado and the pandemic have had on Nashville and we wanted to do something to help," said Jessee Denaro, one-half of the duo. "We thought this would be a perfect time, and a perfect song, to use to highlight how important local Nashville bars are to this community.”

Lakeview member Luke Healy added, "... we want to do whatever we can with the small platform we have created, to shed some light on how integral these establishments are to Nashville and their surrounding communities.”

The song — one in a handful to be released by the new Photo Finish Records duo — tackles "a lost love that still wrenches at your heart," Denaro said. The duo penned "She Drove Me To The Bar" with Dave Thomson and co-produced the track with Jonathan Roach.

"I think all of us use the bar as place to celebrate, work through our baggage and get over heartbreaks surrounded by the people that love you most," Denaro said. "This song is about that."
