KAL named as finalist in BAI Global Innovation Awards

KAL is delighted to announce that we have been selected as a finalist in the 2020 BAI Global Innovation Awards.

The awards recognize organizations from around the globe whose innovations have benefitted the financial services industry in terms of profitability, efficiency and customer experience.

KAL has been nominated in the RegTech category for our ground-breaking Kalignite Hypervisor solution.
Kalignite Hypervisor offers banks a new approach to costly and disruptive ATM hardware upgrades, using OS-Virtualization technology to decouple the ATM PC-core from the ATM operating system. This means software drivers that are unsupported under new Windows operating system versions will now be supported by the hypervisor software drivers instead.

BAI’s criteria for the RegTech award is innovations that “provide unique solutions for key regulatory compliance challenges that financial services companies are facing today . . . Collaborative solutions where banks, regulators and solution providers are working together to solve common challenges are strongly encouraged”.

Other finalists in this group are Abu Dhabi Global Market Financial Center, Fino Payments Bank and Ping An Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.

The winners will be announced in mid- February.
