Abstract

Advances in imaging and novel treatment approaches might have outpaced the prognostic capabilities of the current AJCC/UICC TNM 8^th edition for staging nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). In this issue of Cancer Cell, Du et al. propose a new TNM-9 classification that incorporates these updates.
