The 12-month Hoover Institution Veteran Fellow Program, sponsored by Stanford University, is accepting applications for its upcoming 2023-24 class. Visit https://lnkd.in/gDSJBYyN for more information. The program accepts 10 military veterans to accelerate solution-finding at a local, state or national level. The program seeks participants who want to address challenges in the public sector with actionable outcomes. Among this year’s fellows is Dyan Gibbens ’04, chief executive officer of Trumbull Unmanned. She says she’d be happy to answer any questions USAFA graduates have about the program, adding it’s one of the most beneficial things she’s ever been a part of. “Under the leadership of Dr. Condoleezza Rice, the Veteran Fellowship Program has been one of the best professional experiences,” she says. “Teamed with an impressive cohort, we work closely with the Hoover Institution, Stanford’s D school, and Hoover Fellows on our capstone projects centered around economic prosperity and national security.” She added that West Point and Naval Academy graduates have been heavily involved in the program so far. Gibbens says she’d like to see more USAFA grads involved. The VFP is building an effective and enduring network of successful veteran practitioners, motivated to confront real-world challenges with support from networks at the Hoover Institution and Stanford University. #USAFA #LongBlueLine
