As we gear up for another exciting winter at Whistler Blackcomb, our senior leadership team is energized and optimistic about the season ahead. With returning talent, new faces, and a shared commitment to excellence, we’re ready to deliver unforgettable experiences for our guests and team members alike. The momentum is building—and we can’t wait to see what this season brings.

Our Snow School Managers have officially returned and wrapped up their first week—always a clear signal that winter is fast approaching! We're thrilled to welcome back this incredible team:

Please join us in congratulating Nathan Steele on his new role! We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to the fresh perspective he’ll bring as he gets to know all facets of our Snow School. 
We’re also delighted to welcome back Paul van den Berg, who returns after a year of family adventures, and Andrea Kennedy, rejoining us from maternity leave. Additionally, Hannah Bostrom is stepping into a new leadership role at Creekside, bringing her valuable experience from the Village location. 
We couldn’t be more excited about the strength and depth of this team—and we’re looking forward to a fantastic season ahead!

ONBOARDING
Welcome back! We’re so excited to kick off another amazing winter season with you. 
Everyone returning has been sent their preboarding steps through epic employee. Please take a moment to complete them — we’ll need all steps finalized before we can officially hire for the season. 
If you know someone who plans to return but didn’t receive this newsletter, please encourage them to reach out to their manager so we can get them set up.  
 
Here are a few links to help you navigate your onboarding: 
Active employees currently working at Whistler Blackcomb this summer, you will be able to log into epic employee as an active employee and view preboarding in ‘My Requests’.

If you are having issues with preboarding you can log the issue through epic employee: Service Catalog Item - EpicEmployee
We are aware of some issues with Australian VR employees accessing preboarding – if you are currently working in Australia and cannot access preboarding in epic employee please reach out to peopleconnect@vailresorts.com.
If you’re finding the preboarding process a bit challenging — no worries! Your managers will be setting up office hours to help guide you through it. We’re here to support you every step of the way. 
 Hours will be TBD and we will put them in the next newsletter so standby.
