CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah University football community is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Miles Killebrew, former Thunderbird standout and current Pittsburgh Steeler, for being selected to this year's Pro Bowl. Killebrew's journey from the Thunderbirds to the NFL has been marked by exceptional talent and constant Improvement.

Drafted in 2016 as the 111th overall pick by the Detroit Lions, Killebrew set the precedent as the University's highest-drafted player in school history.

During his tenure at Southern Utah University, Killebrew etched his name in T-Birds' history, amassing over 100 tackles in consecutive seasons and earning All-Big Sky Recognition throughout his four-year college career. His leadership was instrumental in the team's Big Sky Conference Championship.

In his current season with the Steelers, Killebrew's leadership on special teams has been nothing short of stellar. Garnering his first Pro Bowl selection in his eighth NFL season, Killebrew's impact shines through his two blocked punts this year, adding to an impressive career tally of four. Additionally, he leads the Steelers with 13 special teams tackles.

Killebrew's Pro Bowl recognition alongside seasoned teammates T.J. Watt and Minkah Fitzpatrick highlights his exceptional skill set and the respect he commands within the league. Congratulations, Miles Killebrew, on this well-deserved honor from all of us at Southern Utah University.
