Summit on Modern Conflict and Emerging Threats

Modern conflict has created a global problem that is moving at the speed of innovation and technology. The third Vanderbilt Summit on Modern Conflict and Emerging Threats on April 17-18, 2024 brings together internationally recognized leaders and experts in the military and intelligence community to examine the subjects of cyber conflict, artificial intelligence, peer competition and emerging threats.

This year’s summit will examine the challenges China poses to the United States. Topics to be explored include China’s socioeconomic status, supply chain codependency, China and fentanyl, cyberwarfare and what a full-spectrum U.S. strategy for relations with China should include.
