- Course Code: The course code appears as subtitle on your Dashboard and reflects the course ID obtained from the registrar records. This text is usually unchanged, except in courses where multiple sections are merged.

Different schools and departments may have varying settings, LTI tools, themes for their courses, and have different sub-accounts to facilitate this. Sub-accounts cannot be changed by instructors.
- Term: The Term is set by default based on the registrar records for the course and indicates which academic term the course is in. This cannot be changed by instructors.
- Participation: The Start and End fields allow you to choose a custom date range for your course outside the term dates. This will allow students to participate in the course prior to or beyond the end of the normal semester. Click the arrow for participation to change the term to Course and input your desired Start and End dates. Instructors with students requiring an extension can edit the course End date before the end of the term to ensure continued access.

- Format: This is Not Set by default. Instructors can modify as preferred.
- Description: Instructors can add preferred course description in this field.
- Self-enroll URL: Check this box to create a Join Course option for participants to self-enroll.

What should I know about Sections?

Section titles can be edited to differentiate between undergraduate and graduate sections (e.g. UG, GR). Click a section title to Edit and rename the section.
