The Office of Information Technology is pleased to announce a major upgrade to the University’s Wi-Fi network, aimed at improving security, connectivity and convenience for our campus community.
A new Wi-Fi network, "IonaGaels," is now available for use on personal devices. Once connected, devices will remain authenticated for up to five years, offering a more seamless, reliable and uninterrupted user experience.
These improvements are designed to reduce connection issues and better support the daily needs of students, faculty and staff.
To connect your device to the new "IonaGaels" Wi-Fi, please visit: wifi.iona.edu for setup instructions.
If you need help during the connection process, follow the step-by-step guide specific to your device:

The “IonaWifi” network will become unavailable starting August 1, 2025. We strongly encourage all users to transition their devices to the new "IonaGaels" Wi-Fi as soon as possible to avoid any service interruptions.
