Collegeville, Pa. – Stockton University competed against a primarily NCAA Division III field in the Frank Colden Invitational at Ursinus College on Saturday. The Ospreys notched two victories and two runner-up finishes to highlight the day.

Edward Dennerlein (Chatham/Chatham) posted his third straight win in the shot put (16.14m), topping a large field of 42 throwers.
Jeanmarie Harvey (River Edge/River Dell) tied her personal best and notched her second win of the season in the pole vault (3.35m).

Tom Strychowski (Lanoka Harbor/Lacey Twp.) finished second behind Dennerlein in the shot put (14.88m) and
Juan Casiano (Rosenhayn/A.P. Schalick) placed second in the high jump (1.73m).
Keith Holland (Bayville/Central Regional) was third in the pole vault (4.55m) followed by
Qudratullah Qadiri (Ocean Twp./Ocean Twp.) in fourth place (4.25m).

James Flasser (South Plainfield/South Plainfield) finished sixth in the shot put (13.53m) and freshman
Jared Conte (Ocean Twp./Ocean Twp.) was sixth out of 65 competitors in the 200m (23.18 seconds) for the Osprey men's team.

Lauren Preston (Wernersville, Pa./Conrad Weiser) placed third in the women's pole vault (2.90m), two spots behind winner Harvey.
Emmy LaFevre (Flemington/Hunterdon Central) finished fifth out of 55 in the shot put (10.94m) and
Azia Pitt (Winslow Twp./Winslow Twp.) was fifth out of 30 in the long jump (4.87m).

Jessie Klenk (Somerdale/Sterling) placed seventh out of 54 runners in the mile with a personal best by six seconds (5:36.56).

Stockton will compete in the Fastrack National Invitational at Ocean Breeze in Staten Island, N.Y. on February 14 at 4 p.m.
