Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (7-1, 3-1 NJAC) scored the first 16 of the first 17 points of the second half and ran by Rutgers-Newark (1-7, 0-3 NJAC) by a 75-62 final on Wednesday night.
DJ Campbell (Vineland/Vineland) topped all players with 25 points, including 18 in the second half to lead the Ospreys.

The teams battled early in the first half, tied at 15-15 with 11:43 left, until
Jonathan Azoroh (Ewing/Ewing) scored on a free throw for a 16-15 lead. Stockton would not relinquish the advantage for the rest of the game. Campbell added the exclamation points of the frame with a long three ball at the buzzer to give the Ospreys the 39-30 halftime margin.

Campbell led the Ospreys out of the break, scoring the first 15 points of the half for Stockton and a commanding 54-31 lead with 16:42 remaining in regulation. The Scarlet Raiders climbed back to within nine points over the next 10 minutes at 62-53, but that was as close as they would come, as the Ospreys closed the game at 75-62 and their fourth consecutive win.

Campbell tied with Azoroh for game-high in rebounds with eight boards and had three steals to tie with
Kyion Flanders (Wildwood/Wildwood) for team high. Azoroh tied his career-best with 16 points and swatted four blocks.
Martin Anguelov (Cape May/Wildwood Catholic) tallied 10 markers with
Kadian Dawkins (Eastampton/Rancocas Valley) topping all players with six assists.

For the Scarlet Raiders, Tony Godwin scored 21 points, and Shy'Heed Jenkins-Floyd adding 15 markers and tied for team-high with seven rebounds with Travis Miles. Levi Holton chipped in with 11 points.

Stockton will face William Paterson at home for the next game. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 pm in the Stockton Sports Center.
