Turtles, frogs, snakes...oh my! 🐢 Just a few of the critters you find when you visit Lake Pam. 💙 This hidden gem is set back in the woods off the Garden State Parkway. It's a gorgeous spot to walk the trails, watch the birds & enjoy a sunny, quiet afternoon by the water's edge.

  • Lake Pam, set off the Garden State Parkway, is beautiful & blue under the sunny sky.

Funny when I went to Stockton in the mid 70's Lake Pam was aqua blue and nothing lived in it, was told it was a quarry ,It was pretty remote back then so we would skinny dip there and the water was cold and clean.Do remember running into snakes on the paths. Lake Fred was different ,it had lots of vegetation ,and we never swam in it.I was told it had been a cranberry bog at one time.

Spent many an evening with a similar view.

Hozik set up a field geology final back there! Lots of other times back there with some tunes and friends. Good times! ENVL’97
