Recap: Hudson Valley Venture Hub Spotlights the Region’s Most Promising Companies

On March 20, 2025, the Hudson Valley Venture Hub hosted its highly anticipated Spring Showcase at The Senate Garage in Kingston, NY. The event brought together an inspiring group of startups, investors, and community members to celebrate entrepreneurial innovation in the Hudson Valley. The competition showcased ten groundbreaking companies, each making a significant impact in their respective industries.

My First SXSW: The Future Belongs to Independent Thinkers

I came down as an advisor for startup pitches, and it was incredible to see the energy and creativity buzzing through Austin. One of the highlights? Watching Sullivan County’s own Keith Crossland pitch Carbon Negative Solutions Inc.— obviously, the best! Now that I know what SXSW has to offer, I hope to bring a Hudson Valley startup down every year.
