GALLOWAY, N.J. — The New Jersey City University women's golf team closed the book on its inaugural season this afternoon, Thursday, April 29, at the Seaview Golf Club against Stockton University.
The teams competed in an exhibition and junior captain
Elizabeth Bello (Jersey City, N.J./Innovation) led the way for NJCU by placing third overall with a round of 111. Freshman
Fiona Moore (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) was the next-best finisher for the Gothic Knights, coming in fourth with a round of 121. Sophomore
Roxana Martinez (Jersey City, N.J./Innovation) rounded out the NJCU trio by placing fifth.
Head coach
Joe Yeck and his squad will now prepare for a full, traditional season in 2021-22 as the program continues to expand in its second year.
