Robyn Lym is an associate in the Litigation Department at Brach Eichler and focuses on commercial, construction, and civil litigation. Robyn’s experience involves multi-million dollar cases, appellate matters, and federal and state litigation involving large scale electronic discovery, as well as emergent applications seeking injunctive relief.

Robyn counsels clients on a range of strategic legal issues, including breach of contract, breach of warranty, consumer fraud, fraud, and shareholder disputes, construction disputes involving non-payment, termination, or construction defects, landlord/tenant disputes, and employment restrictive covenants. In 2023, Robyn was named to the “New Jersey Rising Stars” list by Super Lawyers.*

Robyn received her J.D. from NYU School of Law and her B.A. from Columbia University. Early in her career, Robyn served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Arthur Bergman, J.S.C., of the New Jersey Superior Court, Middlesex County Vicinage. Prior to joining Brach Eichler, Robyn handled litigation for firms in New Jersey and New York, where she represented individual and corporate clients in civil and corporate litigation matters, such as civil RICO, commercial, appellate, and antitrust matters.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

  • Obtained a multi-million dollar settlement for a Fortune 500 electronics company by private mediation and a negotiated settlement following extensive discovery and deposition practice, and voluminous electronic discovery
  • Obtained a temporary retaining order in a dispute involving a condominium association’s elections as to amendments of its by-laws
  • Obtained judgment to terminate a contract to purchase real property after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Obtained a favorable settlement representing a shareholder of multiple closely-held corporations and LLC seeking a buy-out/dissolution
  • Obtained judgment of $500M enforcing guarantees for a bank against guarantors
  • Obtained judgment of $33M in a civil RICO action for an investor from fraudulent investment transactions
  • Argued as amicus curiae before the New Jersey Supreme Court and obtained reversal of the lower court decisions, holding that government officials were not disqualified from considering applications due to a conflict of interest.
