Madison, N.J. – Stockton University (14-6-3) advanced to the ECAC Tournament championship game with a 4-1 victory over fellow NJAC team Rutgers-Newark (10-6-3) in the semifinal round. The Ospreys scored three goals in the first half and cruised from there.
Sydney Williams (Millville/Millville) led Stockton with two goals and an assist while
Susan Porambo (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) contributed a goal and two assists.
Williams netted a pair of goals in the first half, both assisted by Porambo, to help the Ospreys build a 3-0 advantage. The two markers gave Williams seven on the season.
Each team scored once in the second half, with Porambo tallying her sixth goal of the season and Williams dishing her team-leading ninth assist of the year for the Ospreys as they produced the 4-1 win in the ECAC semifinals.

Megan Brady (Rockaway/Morris Knolls) earned her first career victory for Stockton.
The Ospreys advanced to face another conference foe, William Paterson, in the championship game of the ECAC Tournament next weekend. Stockton has won the ECAC title five times (1993, 99, 2002, 03, 04).
