The Global Women’s Institute in partnership with the Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA), Just Associates (JASS), Latin American Working Group, The Development Gap (The Development Group for Alternative Policies), The George Washington University's Latin American and Hemispheric Studies Department at The Elliott School of International Affairs and the School of Media and Public Affairs invites you to a panel discussion on the ongoing nationwide protests, governmental response and current human rights crisis in Nicaragua.

We will be joined by activists representing the feminist, environmental and student movements and the Caribbean Coast, along with Alejandro Bendaña, Nicaraguan Historian and former Nicaraguan Ambassador to the United Nations.
