WHAT we’re about

We use restorative art to disrupt historical systems of oppression by reimagining education, holistically honoring the community through our approach to our work and creating an unapologetic vision for liberation that is accessible to all.

We are committed to radical imagination through art activism, speaking our truth to power, transparency, intersectionality, inclusivity, and mutually supportive community care in all we do.

#the49507project

The 49507 Project is a Black, Brown, Queer, and youth-led project rooted in collaboration to help make truly Public Art steered by the community where these pieces will live. This community art will utilize artists that are a reflection of those who have been underserved in The 49507 neighborhood.

IN THE CLASSROOM

This is where we started and where we continue to empower youth voice. Learn more about our specific programs and how to bring The Diatribe to your school.

The Emory Arts & Culture Center

With The Emory Arts & Culture Hub, we will be intentionally putting forth a new model for redevelopment that we hope will serve as an example for inclusive community and economic growth, potentially influencing more of this type of work in communities across the country.
