NBC most often applied the famous "Must See TV" advertising slogan to its Thursday night lineup in the 1980s and 1990s, which featured some of the network's most popular sitcoms and drama series. They included Family Ties, The Cosby Show, Cheers, Night Court, Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law, and ER. While The Golden Girls was a hugely popular NBC series from 1985 to 1992, it aired on Saturday (not Thursday) nights.
