Photographers / Artists as Teachers

Cleveland Print Room (CPR) is interested in engaging artists who are dedicated to developing and deepening their work as instructors. We believe that it is essential to our programming development and our organization’s growth to have a diverse community of artists as faculty.

About Cleveland Print Room

CPR is an organization committed to the photographic image. With a community darkroom and gallery at its center, CPR engages artists of all ages as they explore the many facets of photography and visual art.

Photographers / Artists as Teachers

Our mission is to build literacy and curiosity around the photographic image, inviting artists to integrate their expertise and creative practices into CPR’s educational programs. We welcome instructors to share their love and knowledge of photography with students of all ages. This includes analog, digital, alternative processes, and beyond.

Our youth-centered Teen Institute programs are designed to support young creatives ages 12-21 in their pursuit of a photo-based creative practice. Through our programs, we aim to build a rich group of mindful and intentional photographers who consider their humanity and place in the world as material to create and integrate their learnings in unique and innovative ways.

We invite applicants to think about the importance and intricacies of their practice and how it can be translated into a learning experience for others.
