It’s official: Alicia Keys ruled the 2019 Grammy Awards (well, the buzz and chatter online).
The singer and songwriter took on host duties for this year’s ceremony, and came away as the top talking point on Facebook, Billboard can exclusively reveal. Keys snagged the top social moment on Facebook with her performance in homage to pioneering Black pianist, Hazel Scott, say reps for the social media giant,
Everyone was talking about the ridiculously-talented, 15-time Grammy winner and her special medley, seated between two grand pianos like Scott in the 1943 Mae West film The Heat’s On.
Meanwhile, Diana Ross‘ very own medley of classics caught fire on Facebook as her birthday performance came in at No. 2 on Facebook’s Top Social Moments list, just ahead of Cardi B’s performance of “Money” and her acceptance speech for the best rap album, respectively.
Rounding out the top five was Post Malone and Red Hot Chili Peppers hot rock-meets-rap collaboration.
This year, Facebook streamed live the official “GRAMMYs Live from the Red Carpet” show.
