From the Capital Beltway (I-495) Outer Loop

(From Baltimore and points east)

• Strathmore is located just 1/2 mile north of the Capital Beltway.
• Take Exit 34 and head north on Wisconsin Avenue, Route 355 (Rockville Pike).
• Take a right onto Tuckerman Lane just after the Metro overpass and follow Tuckerman Lane around to the left.
• The entrance to Metro parking garage is on the left.
• Take the stairs or elevators to the 4th level of the garage and walk across the sky bridge into the Music Center’s main entrance.

From the Capital Beltway (I-495) Inner Loop

(From Northern Virginia and points west)

• Take the Capital Beltway Exit 36 onto Old Georgetown Road (Route 187).
• Turn left off the exit ramp onto Old Georgetown Road and proceed for approximately 1.5 miles.
• Turn right onto Tuckerman Lane and follow Tuckerman Lane for about 2 miles.
• Stay on Tuckerman Lane and cross over Rockville Pike (Route 355).
• The entrance to Metro parking garage is the second driveway on the right.
• Take the stairs or elevators to the 4th level of the garage and walk across the sky bridge into the Music Center’s main entrance.

From the I-270 Spur, heading south

(From Gaithersburg, Frederick, and points north)

• Exit the I-270 Spur onto Old Georgetown Road (Route 187).
• Follow the signs to Old Georgetown Road North (Route 187 North).
• Turn left onto Old Georgetown Road North (Route 187 North).
• Within a quarter mile, turn right onto Tuckerman Lane.
• Follow Tuckerman Lane for about 2 miles. Stay on Tuckerman Lane and cross over Rockville Pike (Route 355).
• The entrance to Metro parking garage is the second driveway on the right.
• Take the stairs or elevators to the 4th level of the garage and walk across the sky bridge into the Music Center’s main entrance.

On Rockville Pike (Route 355), heading north

(From DC, Bethesda, and points south)

• Strathmore is located 1/2 mile north of the Capital Beltway (I-495) on Rockville Pike (Route 355).
• Take a right onto Tuckerman Lane just after the Metro overpass and follow Tuckerman around to the left.
• The entrance to Metro parking garage is on the left.
• Take the stairs or elevators to the 4^th level of the garage and walk across the sky bridge into the Music Center’s main entrance.

On Rockville Pike (Route 355), heading south

(From Rockville and points north)

• Strathmore is located on Rockville Pike (Route 355).
• Pass the Mansion at Strathmore and take a left onto Tuckerman Lane.
• The entrance to the Metro parking garage is the second driveway on the right.
• Take the stairs or elevators to the 4th level of the garage and walk across the sky bridge into the Music Center’s main entrance.

• Strathmore is located immediately adjacent to the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro station, on Metro’s Red Line.
• Follow the walkway out of the Metro station to the left entrance of the Metro Garage.
• Take the stairs or elevators to the 4th level and walk across the sky bridge into the Music Center’s main entrance.

Music Center Concert Hall Performance Parking

• Complimentary parking for ticketed events in the Music Center’s Concert Hall is located in the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro garage off Tuckerman Lane.
• At the end of each ticketed event in the Music Center’s Concert Hall, the parking garage exit gates open for 30 minutes to exit the garage. If you leave before, or up to 90 minutes after, this 30 minute period, you can show your ticket stub to the video camera-connected customer service stations at any exit lane of the garage.
• Every exit lane of the parking garage has a Customer Service Station. These Customer Service Stations are equipped with an intercom, video/camera connection, and a credit card and SmarTrip card reader. The Customer Service Stations can connect a patron with Metro’s Parking Operations Control Center (POCC). The parking barrier gates are opened and closed remotely from the POCC and customers can interact live with POCC Staff through the in-lane Customer Service Stations. If you leave before, or up to 90 minutes after this 30 minute period, you must show your ticket stub to the POCC Office Staff.
• Valet Parking is $20 per vehicle (cash only) for all public Concert Hall performances. Valet drop-off and pick-up is located at the Circle Plaza entry to the Music Center at Strathmore at 5301 Tuckerman Lane. Please note, on certain sold-out performance nights, valet parking may fill up. 
• Bicycle racks are located near the Music Center’s drop off circle entrance on Tuckerman Lane. Strathmore does not permit bicycles to be left or secured elsewhere on campus.

Non-Performance & Education Music Center Parking

• For non-performance Music Center events, including all Education Center events and non-ticketed private Concert Hall events, parking is located in the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Garage. A fee of  $5.20 is required Monday–Friday and may be paid using a credit card or SmarTrip card.
• Currently, parking on Saturdays and Sundays in the Metro Garage is free.
• SmarTrip card dispensers are available at all stations with Metro-operated parking lots.
• Limited short-term parking also is available at meters along Tuckerman Lane.
• To access the Music Center from the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro garage, walk across the glass-enclosed sky bridge located on the 4th level.
• Bicycle racks are located near the Music Center’s drop off circle entrance on Tuckerman Lane. Strathmore does not permit bicycles to be left or secured elsewhere on campus.

Ticket Office Parking

• Daily until 5pm, 15-minute parking for ticket purchasers is allowed in the Mansion at Strathmore lot, entry off of 10701 Rockville Pike.
• Evening parking is available in the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro garage (for a fee, payment by Metro SmarTrip card or major credit card), or at the short-term meters along Tuckerman Lane as available.
• Bicycle racks are located near the Music Center’s drop off circle entrance on Tuckerman Lane. Strathmore does not permit bicycles to be left or secured elsewhere on campus.

FROM THE CAPITAL BELTWAY (I-495) OUTER LOOP

• AMP is located just 2.5 miles north of the Capital Beltway.
• Take Exit 34 and head north on Wisconsin Avenue, Route 355 (Rockville Pike).
• Make a left onto Old Georgetown Road.
• Make your second right onto Grand Park Avenue.

FROM THE CAPITAL BELTWAY (I-495) INNER LOOP

(From Northern Virginia and points west)

• Take the Capital Beltway Exit 34 onto MD-355 S/Rockville Pike toward Wisconsin Avenue/Bethesda.
• Use the left lane to merge onto MD-355 S/Rockville Pike.
• Make a U-turn at Alta Vista Road.
• Proceed straight on MD-355 North for approximately 2.5 miles.
• Turn left onto Old Georgetown Road.
• Turn right onto Grand Park Avenue.

FROM THE I-270 SPUR, HEADING SOUTH

(From Gaithersburg, Frederick, and points north)

• From I-270 South, take exit 4-5 for MD-189/Falls Road/Montrose Road.
• Take Exit 4A for Montrose Road East. Merge onto Montrose Road
• Turn right onto Towne Road.
• Turn left onto Rose Avenue.
• Turn right onto Grand Park Avenue.

ON ROCKVILLE PIKE (ROUTE 355), HEADING NORTH

(From DC, Bethesda, and points south)

• AMP is located just 2.5 miles north of the Capital Beltway.
• From Route 355 (Rockville Pike), make a left onto Old Georgetown Road.
• Make your second right onto Grand Park Avenue.

ON ROCKVILLE PIKE (ROUTE 355), HEADING SOUTH

(From Rockville and points north)

• AMP is located just off of Route 355 (Rockville Pike), just south of Montrose Parkway.
• Make a right onto Old Georgetown Road.
• Make your second right onto Grand Park Avenue.

As AMP shares parking with the other restaurants and attractions in the Pike & Rose community, we encourage you to arrive early or take Metro for easy arrival. The neighborhood may be especially busy on Friday and Saturday evenings!

Parking Lots & Garages

• All Pike & Rose parking garages and surface lots are convenient to AMP.
• AMP is located directly atop the Old Georgetown Road Garage, located at 11580 Old Georgetown Road, North Bethesda, MD 20852.
  • Enter this garage by making a right hand turn directly into the garage from westbound Old Georgetown Road, right after the BIBIBOP.
  • Typically most parking is available on the lowest level, B2. Once you’ve parked, proceed to the elevator nearest to the center of the garage (you’ll see a sign for AMP and iPic when you arrive) and go directly to level 4.
• Please note that AMP is not accessible via the office building.
• There are also garages on Trade Street at  11860 Trade Street, North Bethesda, MD 20852 and on Prose Street at 911 Prose Ave., North Bethesda, MD 20852 that provide easy access to AMP.

• AMP is located across Rockville Pike (Route 355) from the White Flint Metro station, on Metro’s Red Line.
• When you exit the White Flint Metro station, cross under Rockville Pike (Route 355), then head north towards the Bank of America to the intersection of Old Georgetown Road. Turn left onto Old Georgetown Road and right onto Grand Park Avenue. You can access the elevators to AMP between Gap and iPic.

• Take a right to enter the Mansion lot at 10701 Rockville Pike (Route 355).

On Rockville Pike (Route 355), heading south

(From Rockville and points north)

• Strathmore is located on Rockville Pike (Route 355) just south of White Flint Mall.
• Take a left to enter the Mansion lot at 10701 Rockville Pike.

• Strathmore is located immediately adjacent to the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro station, on Metro’s Red Line.
• Follow the walkway out of the Metro station to the left entrance of the Metro Garage.
• Take the stairs or elevators to the 4th level and walk across the sky bridge towards Strathmore.
• Head north and cross the parking lot to walk to the Mansion’s front entrance.

• Parking for events and exhibitions in the Mansion at Strathmore is free in the Mansion lot on a space available basis.
• Enter the Mansion lot at 10701 Rockville Pike.
• Additional parking is available in the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Garage. A fee of  $5.20 is required Monday–Friday and may be paid using a credit card or SmarTrip card. Currently, parking on Saturdays and Sundays in the Metro Garage is free.
• Limited short-term parking also is available at meters along Tuckerman Lane.
