Description:
The challenge was to make everything as premium and filmic as possible and to deliver something that would gain repeat views/shares from existing Free Fire gamers and attract new people to the platform.
None of the sounds in the film were supplied from the game!! Everything was created bespoke for this project. We spent hours crafting the light bike, explosions, all of the weapons and vehicles are unique to the film...using synthesizers, samplers...layers and effects. All foley was recorded specifically for the project.
We drew on every action movie and video game we'd ever experienced to make an intense ride for the viewer. The game features a set of near-future vehicles and weapons so we based the sounds for each in reality, but gave them a futuristic edge.
We used non-literal, creative, cinematic style effects at certain points in the film (such as the parachute drop onto the roof and the introduction of the monster truck) to increase the intensity and peril faced by the protagonists and to add to the filmic nature of the soundtrack.
