Description:
Atópicos is an animation series that portrays the reality of patients with atopic dermatitis, a chronic inflammatory disease that affects millions of people around the world. Made to be felt on the skin, each film in the first season presents a different patient profile and the impacts the disease has on their lives.

All the scripts were based on real stories, and written in order to represent the "inside world", what happens under the skin of patients, that people who do not suffer from atopic dermatitis cannot see or understand.

All scripts were crafted to bring representation to patients, with metaphors that generate identification while also showing respect and empathy for the condition.

The name Atópicos (Atopics) reinforces the message that AD is a systemic disease, that it manifests itself from the inside out.

Therefore, the campaign films were visually designed to always reveal an inner and an outer world. Animation was the chosen language for providing more freedom of abstraction, allowing the creation of very sensorial scenes together with an impactful sound design.

Each movie from the Atopics series brings a different style of animation, defined by each story's needs.
