NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Carleton College diver
Brenna Russell (Jr./Andover, Minn./Andover) was selected to compete at the 2023 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships to be held March 15-18, at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.
Last weekend, Russell finished sixth on the 1-meter board and 23rd on the 3-meter board at the NCAA Diving Regional held in Chicago. Her performance at Regionals earned Russell a spot in the 29-diver field at the NCAA Championships.
At the national meet, the 3-meter competition will be held on Wed., March 15 with 1-meter diving slated for Fri., March 17. Preliminary rounds will be held each day starting at 12:45 p.m. EDT. Divers that finished 9
th-16
th during prelims will compete in the consolation finals, which immediately follow the prelims. The top 8 scorers during the preliminary round advance to the finals which will be held during the evening swim session that starts at 6:00 p.m. EDT.
