MEDIA DRIVES ACCEPTANCE

The Foundation For Love & Acceptance is dedicated to harnessing the power of music and media to support mental health, LGBTQ and other at-risk youth, and Nashville’s country music community.

TY HERNDON

“Knowing someone personally is the common denominator when it comes to acceptance. But seeing someone like them in the media is a very close second. The Foundation brings powerful and life saving images and messages to marginalized youth who need to see themselves represented, loved, and affirmed.”

THE CONCERT FOR LOVE & ACCEPTANCE
Groundbreaking country music artist Ty Herndon created the Foundation For Love & Acceptance to provide an annual stage for country music artists, allies, and fans to come together to support LGBTQ youth. Annually, the Concert For Love & Acceptance brings together the brightest stars in country music and garners millions of media impressions each year, sending messages of encouragement to LGBTQ individuals all around the world.

BEYOND THE STAGE

While the Concert and its powerful messages of support for LGBTQ and other marginalized youth are the primary focus of the Foundation, proceeds from the show and funds raised throughout the year create impact well beyond the stage. Organizations who have benefited from the Foundation include GLAAD, MusiCares, ACM Lifting Lives, the Oasis LGBTQ Youth Center in Nashville, Bianca Page Day, and more. In 2021, the Foundation entered a powerful partnership with education provider Everfi to provide mental health wellness education to students, impacting more than 300 schools across Mississippi, Kansas, Georgia, Florida, Missouri, Kentucky, Texas, and Washington, DC.

Committed to supporting mental health and wellness for youth, with a particular focus on at-risk LGBTQ youth, as well as supporting addiction recovery for all.
