One of the top resources for gifted parents and educators!

There are so many topics to talk about when you talk about gifted education, but Bright Now has done a remarkable job over the last few years of curating a useful and focused series of discussions and interviews. The guests are well-chosen and the presentation is crisp and on-topic, so you don’t have to dedicate a huge amount of time to get value from each episode. Also, it is very professionally edited and recorded, which makes it easy to listen to. Just about everyone involved in gifted education, and everyone parenting a gifted child, will find something useful and thoughtful in this podcast.

A Great Resource

I have been an avid listener for the life of this podcast. The range of issues presented has been both interesting and enormously informative. A couple of highlights for me as a CTY parent have been, developmental issues as regards talented youth, and the recent college application process stories.
One thing that I would love to see added for each episode, would be an additional resource list for further investigation.
Please continue with the great work!

Hope there are more episodes coming!

I just found this podcast and really enjoy it. I noticed there’s been a lull since the last one, so I hope it’s just on hiatus and that there are more coming.

A request if anyone who produces the podcast is reading: There are so many fascinating CTY alums out there. I would love to hear as a feature on this podcast longform interviews with some of those alums, where they share their personal stories of how their talents were first identified, what specific experiences helped them foster those talents, what hindered them along their journey and how they overcame those challenges, and what advice would they give to young people today/their parents. I would listen to these with great interest and am sure others out here in listener-land would too!
