Simon Wadlington transferred to Lipscomb University as a sophomore and found not only a new home, but a deeper sense of calling and purpose. In May he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in pastoral leadership and a concentration in Business as Mission. Read more. 

New courses provide easier learning for students whose spiritual upbringing was in Spanish. Last year brought the debut of the first Bible class taught in Spanish, which kicked off an initiative to offer Lipscomb’s entire core trio of Bible courses in Spanish. Read more.

There are many events happening in the College of Bible & Ministry this fall. Below are highlights of the activities happening this semester. 

In August the College of Bible & Ministry hosted a new student lunch, a Fall Retreat, a Worship Arts Mixer and an Internship Processing Session. Highlights of other activities this semester: 

September: Community Lunch, Pastoral Leadership Dinner, Kids Ministry field trip to Cross Pointe Bellevue and attending a Lipscomb women's soccer game. 

October: Pastoral Leadership Dinner, Community Lunch, Worship Night, Kids Ministry field trip to Harpeth Hills Church of Christ, Internship Fair and Milkshake Night with Dr. J.P. Conway. 

November: Junior/Senior Dinner, Kids Ministry field trip to Otter Creek Church, Pastoral Leadership Dinner and Freshman/Sophomore Game Night. 

December: Guys' Christmas Party at Dr. Conway's home, Girls' Christmas Party at Dr. Lauren White's home.
