A Consecration Choir for the Ordination of The Reverend Poulson Reed as Bishop Coadjutor of Oklahoma is being formed and is open to choristers from all parishes of the diocese.  The choir will be responsible for leading congregational hymns as well as singing anthems.  The Consecration service will take place Saturday, April 18th at 11:00 am at the Freede Wellness Center on the campus of Oklahoma City University.

If you are interested in joining the choir, here are the essentials:

• All singers must attend a regional rehearsal and the combined rehearsal.
• Both regional rehearsals will take place on Wednesday, April 15th at 7:00 pm in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
• The combined rehearsal is Friday, April 17th at 7:30 pm in Oklahoma City.
• Proficiency in reading choral music (4-part singing) is required.
• Music will be provided.
• Parish choir vestments will be worn at the consecration service.  Each singer will need to bring their own.
• All singers must be capable of climbing stairs. The choir will be situated on a stage in the Freede Welness Center.

Singers desiring to sing in the Consecration Choir must register online by March 15th. Space for choir seating on the stage will be limited, so participation will be open to the first 150 registrants.
