Square is holding $299 for trans to my bank. Placed a temp hold on my $ no rsn why. Cust svc unable to site specific rsn why, stating as soon as rvw finished, $ will be trans to my bank. (Hundreds of complaints on Reddit stating exact same & thousands of $ being held, over 180 days, no explanation why). I'm new on there, my 2nd sale, placed under rvw, asked to provide copy of DL, they released my $ for bank transfer w/in a few hrs. Had a few more sales all under $200 each, trans to my bank. Submitted sale of $299, placed under review, provided indepth info (how often cust purchasing, various ?'s about product sales, etc, copy of DL again). Ans immediately, still being asked ?'s, no resolution to when $ will be trans. As a new seller, processed less than $500 since starting w/Square. Rq*** card reader, not rcvd, manually entering each sale. A few sales were paid by 1-time use cards, all processed fine, no issues w/the cust (cust can't cancel a sale made by those, no liability of a canc). The $299 sale was cust actual cc manually entered due to not having card rdr. Ctd cust svc when acct on hold, trying to find what was going on...hold time long...very poor English speaking cust svc rep *** I was being "investigated" and to let review run it's course. Asked what in the world being invest for & said this is normal. Called back, got a lady (hold time even longer) said he gave wrong info, not being "investigated" but under rvw, $ would be released after rvw, no e*** time frame. After doing extensive rsch on the complaints against Square, called & had cust svc rep deactivate my acct, stated $ would be transferred to my bank. Haven't rcvd my $ from the $299 sale. I want to be pd, not wait 180 days for review since I deactivated my acct. My *** of $ is very small compared to others. Since I had cust svc deactivate my acct, can't call or email...no way to communicate, blocked me & holding my $. Cust svc lady *** if she deactivated my acct, $ would be transferred to my bank.
