SOLVANG, CA | USA – Now in its second year of races in the United States, the Heritage Arabian Racing Club (HARC) offers lucrative added money bonuses in predetermined races for HARC-nominated horses.
The first HARC race took place this past Saturday, August 12th in Santa Rosa, California as part of the California Fair Circuit. WMA Tina (Dayttona x WMA Tikis Banner), a six-year-old granddaughter of Monarch AH, collected the full HARC payout as the sole HARC-nominated horse of the field. Her owner, Thomas and Diana Chambers, and breeder Rita De Leon, will be splitting the payout of at least $2,000 to each.

WMA Tina was a HARC money winner in 2016, and returned to claim an even bigger piece of the pie this year.

The Heritage Arabian Racing Club provides HARC funding to more than a dozen countries around the world to encourage the racing of “heritage” bloodlines established by HH Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Funding for 2017 is still being set, with the United States in the top three performers worldwide.
A HARC race in Delaware and Texas will run in the United States later this fall as well, rounding out the USA HARC series for 2017. Dates will be announced next month for Delaware, and in October for Texas.
Congratulations to breeder Rita De Leon, owners Thomas and Diana Chambers, trainer Renee LaFleur and jockey Shawn Spikes, and all the winning connections of WMA Tina. Many thanks to Mei Davis for her assistance in coordinating the HARC race during the Santa Rosa meet.
HARC horses must be nominated and officially accepted into the HARC database in order to be eligible for the HARC bonuses. Nomination forms and additional information can be found at www.ArabianRacing.org/HARC.
