Student Readings
Collected Works Bookstore is pleased to partner once again with Santa Fe University of Art and Design’s Creative Writing and Literature Department to present a public reading from its final graduating class. These events will feature the seven Creative Writing major seniors graduating in May, 2018.

The writers will share a selection of poetry and prose based on work that will be published in book form in May as part of their Senior Reading course. In this capstone class for Creative Writing majors, students develop a senior creative thesis that demonstrates advanced skills in literary craft, and deliver a public reading of their original creative work.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend to celebrate the hard work and literary accomplishments of this extraordinary group of students.

Atlas of a Lost World
From the author of Apocalyptic Planet, an unsparing, vivid, revelatory travelogue through prehistory that traces the arrival of the First People in North America twenty thousand years ago and the artifacts that enable us to imagine their lives and fates. A blend of science and personal narrative reveals how much has changed since the time of mammoth hunters, and how little. Across unexplored landscapes yet to be peopled, readers will see the Ice Age, and their own age, in a whole new light.
