The winners will be announced at a gala ceremony on Monday, June 4th in New York City, where authors Roxane Gay and Edmund White will be honored.
“This year.... another stellar list of authors demonstrate through their work that LGBTQ books tell richly textured stories about who we are in all our incredible diversity." -- Lambda Literary Executive Director Tony Valenzuela

Journey Santa Fe Presents:
The Poor People's Campaign: Policies For Direct Action at NM Roundhouse
Paul Gibson, Retake Our Democracy and Jennifer Johnson, Santa Fe Representative for the Poor People's Campaign
May 13 to June 21 will be 40 days of direct action in Santa Fe at the Roundhouse on the issues of racism, poverty, environmental destruction, and war and the effects of militarism.
50 years ago, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King and others called for a “revolution of values” in America, inviting people who had been divided to stand together against the “triplets of evil”--militarism, racism, and economic injustice--to insist that people need not die from poverty in the richest nation to ever exist. At this time of intensifying political, economic, and moral crisis, with the lives of the most vulnerable and the spirits of all under vicious attack, people in growing numbers around the country are fighting back for their lives, communities and deepest values. There is a resounding call to the very soul of this nation: A new Poor People’s Campaign for a Moral Revival in America.
