Hello East Nasty Runner!
We are on the countdown runners!  Yes RUNNERS! You all looked great on Saturday running part of the race course.  This upcoming Saturday we will be meeting in the same location for another bite out of the race course apple before the big day.  
REMINDER that Results Physiotherapy will be with us on Monday at 5:30 before and after training to do injury assessments this week!
Before I get to the schedule for this week, I have a request to share.  One of our participants is looking for some assistance getting to the training runs the last 2 weeks, starting Monday. Ayako Honda is newly here from Japan and doesn't have a driver's license for Tennessee.  Her husband has been driving her to all the trainings for the last 6 weeks, but he is on business travel the next 2 weeks and Ayako really wants to complete this program. Ayako lives near the Vanderbilt campus around 18th Ave South and is offering baking treats in return for helping her out.  Please reach out at her email directly to assist!  Her email is : Dayako415@hotmail.com
I know you all have been hot tomatoes out there the last few weeks, this week will probably be the same.  Keep yourselves hydrated every day, not just on training days.  It's really exciting to think 7 weeks ago you were just wondering if you could run 90 second runs.  You all are doing great!
This week our training will be Monday and Wednesday in Shelby Park and Saturday at Nashville Running Company in East Nashville.
Monday 
• 5 minute brisk walk • 3x (8 minute jog / 1 minute walk) • 5 minute walk
Wednesday 
• 5 minute brisk walk • 2x (12 minute jog / 1 minute walk) • 5 minute walk
Saturday
• 5 minute brisk walk • 2.5 mile jog (no walking) • 5 minute jog
We may get our shirts in by the end of the week, as soon as we get them, we will pass them out to those who purchased them.  I certainly look forward to seeing you all in them!
