DAAP Students are invited to apply to the Jeffrey N. Thomas "In The Arena" Scholarship. This is a one-time, $2500 available to full-time undergrad or grad students interested in aviation. Click on the link for more details and requirements. Applications must be submitted by September 18. 
The Greater Denton Arts Council is seeking submissions to its 31st annual Materials: Hard + Soft National Contemporary Craft Competition and Exhibition. Works produced in any of the craft media: clay, fiber, glass, metal, paper, wood, or any combination of craft media, are acceptable. A number of Juror Awards in cash will be given out. The deadline is September 29.
