Valor Track & Field Athletes & Families -
A great weekend of competing up north! The conditions were not ideal, but our athletes showed great effort and grit against some great teams. The team had many season and lifetime bests. We are excited about the progress and know where we need some work. This week we get back at it with an unusual schedule around a mid-week meet and graduation. We celebrate all the seniors this week as they get ready to walk with the class of 2021 and end their high school career (bonus T&F still ahead)!
Windsor T&F asked us to honor one boy and one girl from our program who embodied my Dad's spirit of loving the sport of Track & Field with a t-shirt provided by the meet. This year our staff is recognizing Junior (Faith Jehu) and Freshman (Isaac Branch) for their work ethic, outstanding character and love for the sport. We will be presenting them with their shirt at practice on Monday.
Beginning of the week looks to be raining and cooler...dress appropriately for training outside!
