The Wilks Institute for Leadership and Service invites you to our annual Leadership Lecture with Tisha Norman and Dr. Joshua Fredenburg for One College Nation. One College Nation is a highly interactive experience designed to equip students in developing and practicing essential skills that will give them the confidence to develop cross-cultural relationships, intercultural competencies, and create an inclusive campus community. Plus, we'll have a DJ, giveaways and time to connect with other leaders at Miami University! See you there.

Philanthropy Education Week,

April 17 - 23

As a leader, learn about the importance of giving back during Philanthropy Education Week, April 17-23. During the week, join the Senior Class Gift Committee (SCG) and Miami University Advancement as they educate us on why philanthropy, alumni connection, and the Class of 2022 senior class gift matters.

They will also host giveaways throughout the week! Be sure to enter for a chance to win. Learn more here!

Leadership and Service Certificate program orientation dates

Leadership and Service Certificate
The Leadership and Service Certificate (LSC) program challenges students to examine leadership from diverse perspectives and encourages reflection into their own leadership skills, values, and beliefs.

The next LSC orientation will be on April 18th, 2022. Please fill out this form if you are interested in attending an orientation and to access the orientation Google Meets links.

The Wilks Institute and Student Activities are working together to create a collaborative of student organizations focused on community engagement, volunteerism, service, and social impact. Membership in the collaborative will include gatherings 1-2 times per semester and access to professional development opportunities.
