The May 10-12, 2023 HighScope International Conference will be offered as a hybrid event where participants can choose to attend in person or virtually through our online platform. The virtual option will feature keynote lectures as well as livestreamed and recorded breakout sessions. In-person presentations are limited to 90 minutes and prerecorded sessions are limited to 60 minutes.
While presenters can choose to submit both in person and/or virtually; only prerecorded submissions will be accepted for the virtual presenter option.
What are we looking for?
WE ARE REQUESTING THAT PRESENTATIONS:
- Increase both practical skills and content knowledge of educators and leaders.
- Model instructional best practices utilizing the HighScope active learning approach.
- Demonstrate individualized learning by differentiating instruction and introducing real-world problem solving.
- Include the latest scientific research on how young children learn and develop.
- Explore ways to encourage and empower educators to lead, teach, and grow.
SUGGESTED PROPOSAL TIPS:
- Think beyond the lecture — What do you want the audience to take away from your session?
- Detail the purpose and objectives of your session.
- Indicate what participants will learn and emulate your classroom experience!
- Contribute to the conversation around current relevant challenges and topics.
- Devise ways to engage your peers and encourage audience participation.
