Promising Practices are unique and effective practices created and implemented by schools, districts and youth-serving organizations that promote character development and align with one or more of the 11 Principles Framework. Synergy & Leadership Exchange recognizes these practices each year to spotlight the great things happening in your communities!
There is no cost to apply. Applications are evaluated by an outside panel of practitioners. Award honorees are celebrated at the Character Recognition Awards luncheon in May. Applications are due Feb. 10, 2023.

The Kern Family Foundation invites you to join Dr. Arthur Schwartz on January 25, 2023: 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. for a virtual discussion of Character.org's national guidelines for Character and Social-Emotional Development
The CSED guidelines provide a roadmap for schools to help children and teens understand, care about, and consistently practice the SEL skills and character strengths that will enable them to flourish in school, in the workplace, and as citizens.
