Volleyball | Fall to USI; @ Cedarville Friday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (13-10, 4-1 G-MAC) dropped a non-conference matchup with the University of Southern Indiana (16-6, 6-5 Great Lakes Valley Conference) Tuesday night at the Trojan Fieldhouse, falling 18-25, 20-25, 22-25.

Trevecca's next match is 6 p.m. Friday night at Cedarville (14-11, 6-1 G-MAC) in the first of five straight conference games on the road. The Trojans are the only G-MAC team to beat the Yellow Jackets. Full Recap/Box Score

ROME, Ga. - The Trevecca men's soccer team (5-8-1, 3-3-1 G-MAC) dropped a 2-0 decision to Shorter University (6-7-1, 4-2 Gulf South Conference) Tuesday night at Ben Brady Field.

The Trojans return home to wrap up Great Midwest Athletic Conference action Thursday night at 7pm against Southwest division leader Cedarville University (9-4-2, 5-0-1). Trevecca will conclude its regular season October 28th at 7:30pm against Lincoln Memorial University (7-3-2).

ROME, Ga. - The Trevecca women's golf team is fifth (of nine) after the first round of the Chick-fil-A Classic hosted by Berry College at the Stonebridge Country Club. The course played to a par of 72 over 5866 yards. Three Trojans, Marlee Stecker (JR/Dickson, Tenn.), Mikayla Dodson (JR/Sante Fe, Tenn.), and Alex Rippy, all are tied for 10th with an opening round 78.

The nine teams and 59 golfers will tee it up again on Tuesday morning for the final round. FULL Chick-fil-A Recap

KILLEN, Ala. - The Trevecca men's golf team is 11th of 17 teams after the opening day of play and 36-holes of golf at the 2014 TVA Credit Union Invitational, hosted by the University of North Alabama at the Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club.

The tournament concludes Tuesday at Turtle Point when the 85 golfers return to the course that is playing to a par of 72 over 7133 yards. FULL UNA Recap
