BOYS CROSS COUNTRY AT GMC THIS SATURDAY!



The Comets prepare for the GMC Championships on Saturday, October 14th at VOA. The Mason boys CC team will be seeking their third consecutive GMC Title and 7th overall in the past 8 years.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY AT GMC THIS SATURDAY!

The Mason girls prepare for the 2017 GMC Championships on Saturday, October 14 at VOA. The Comet Girls CC team has dominated the league since 2010 winning 7 consecutive GMC titles.

MASON FOOTBALL ROLLS MIDDIES!


After a slow 1st quarter start, the Mason FB team got things going in the 2nd quarter, putting up 20 unanswered points and defeating Middletown on Homecoming night. It was 26-0 at the half with the Comets going on to win 41-14. Mason goes to 5-2 overall and keeps and 3-2 in the GMC. See the scoring summary below:

Matt Sora rushed for 119 yards on 16 carries and 2 TD's. QB Will Adams was 3/3 passing for 82 yards. Tanner Knue caught two passes for 59 yards and a TD. 

Next up Mason will visit Princeton on Friday. The Vikings (3-4, 3-2) defeated Lakota West 24-10 last weekend.

BOYS GOLF ADVANCES TO DISTRICT

Mason now advances to the District Tournament to be played at Glenview Golf Course on Thursday, October 12th.The Comets will be looking to score a top three finish in the District tournament so to advance to the State tournament that will be held later in October.

GIRLS GOLF ADVANCES TO DISTRICT!


Mason now moves on to the District Tournament on Tuesday, October 10th at Beavercreek Golf Club to continue their quest to make it to the State Tournament.

District will qualify three (3) teams and the three (3) individual low scorers not on a qualifying team to the State Tournament, October 20 - 21, 2017.

BOYS SOCCER GMC SHOWDOWN WITH FAIRFIELD THURSDAY!


Mason (9-4-2) will host Fairfield (10-1-4) this Thursday, Oct. 12th to determine who is the conference champion. Both teams are 7-0-1 heading into the contest. Mason will be seeking their 7th league title with the last one coming two seasons ago in 2015. 


MASON IS THE #3 SEED IN THE UPCOMING POST SEASON TOURNEY. The Comets will take on the winner of the Princeton/Edgwood contest on Saturday, October 21st, 7:00 PM at Mason.

GIRLS SOCCER HOSTS HAMILTON TUESDAY


  

Next up for the 9-2-3, 5-0-2 Comets is the Big Blue of Hamilton who will bring their 7-5-2, 3-3-1 record to Mason High School on Tuesday, Oct. 12th for what will be the Comets final regular season home match.  This is a must win match for the Comets if they hope to keep their GMC title hopes alive. 

A "possible" GMC Showdown at Fairfield looms for this coming Thursday.

MASON IS THE #2 SEED IN THE UPCOMING POST SEASON TOURNEY. The Comets will host the winner of the Mt. Healthy/Mercy contest on Thursday, Oct. 19th.

GIRLS TENNIS

GIRLS TENNIS ADVANCES SIX TO DISTRICT!



Girls Sectional Tennis was delayed until today due to rain on Thursday. Friday's winners will determine District Qualifiers with semi-finals and finals slated for Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 am. 

Qualifiers from each Sectional to District will be four singles and four doubles in Division I.

The OHSAA District Championships are Oct. 12-14 at the Linder Family Tennis Center in Mason. Qualifiers from District to State Meet will be four (4) singles and four (4) doubles. State Meet to be held on October 20 - 21, 2017.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL HOSTS MCAULEY ON TUESDAY


Mason will host McAuley on Tuesday, Oct. 10th and Seton on Thursday, Oct. 12th before concluding the regular season at Dublin Coffman on Saturday, Oct. 14th. 


MASON IS THE #4 SEED IN THE UPCOMING SECTIONAL TOURNEY. The Comets will host the winner of the Mt. Healthy/MIddletown match on Wed. Oct. 18th, 6:00 at Mason.
