Have you heard the GOOD NEWS! Project SHARE is back for our annual Stuff the Bus Challenge!
Our annual Stuff the Bus campaign kicks off in November where the schools of Niagara Falls are challenged to collect the most food, toys, and monetary donations per person which are then collected by a Niagara Falls Transit bus from Monday December 5th- Thursday December 8th (A great photo opportunity!).
Participating schools are invited to join us and celebrate the Good News in our community on Friday December 9th at our Good News Breakfast event; a free community breakfast at the Greg Frewin Theatre including live performances, donation presentations, and awards for the top fundraising school and business. We will announce the top three schools at our Good News Breakfast, and there is a prize for the winning school!
Winners will be determined by the total value of donations divided by the total number of students, and our donations are broken down as follows;
Food = $3.21/lb Toys = $15/lb Money = Face Value
We challenge the schools to get creative with how they collect donations, and Project SHARE will be happy to provide your school with collection barrels, signage, etc.
This event raised over $238,000 in food, toys, and monetary donations in 2021 which were then distributed to Niagara Falls families in need. We could not meet the demand for assistance at Christmas without this essential campaign.
Project SHARE has sent out promotional materials for our Stuff the Bus Challenge via mail, but we wanted to send out an email just in case!
We hope your school will be able to join us in making sure every family in Niagara Falls has the opportunity to have a happy, and healthy Christmas this year!
