We will play in the keys of G and C, (just like Murphy does on the video) and all of the songs will be the popular folk favorites she teaches on the DVD. It will be a huge amount of sing-and-pick-along fun.

New Book on the History of the Banjo
Baltimore-based writer and fiddler Kristina R. Gaddy has written an important new book on the history of the banjo. She explores the instrument's past through a wider cultural lens than previous works have done, and asks important questions surrounding the banjo's role in our musical communities going forward.
If you play banjo or enjoy banjo music, you should check it out.
Buy it here.
She also has lots of reference materials on her website.
And, as always, our complete line of DVDs, downloads, custom lessons, books, and CDs is available on our website.
. . . and there you have it!
