It's spring and summer is just around the corner! Is your closet ready? It is time to put away those cool weather clothes and breakout the warm weather fashions! Hopefully, you will get to travel more this year and enjoy somewhere beautiful and sunny!
This is a good time to get rid of the clothes you didn’t wear all fall and winter. It is a good time to reevaluate the things you have for spring and summer. If they don’t fit anymore or they just don’t fit your taste anymore (remember if you wouldn’t buy it in the store today, you don’t need to keep it), then it is time to donate or take it to your local consignment store.
Your closet is one of the fastest places to get cluttered but it should be one of the most valued spaces in your home because it contains all the clothes that make you look and feel fabulous!
And here are a few ideas to keep your closet smelling fresh:
- Spray air freshener or disinfectant
- Baking soda to absorb any odors
- A bowl of potpourri
- Essential oils or perfume
- Scented sachets
- Dryer sheets - cut a slit in them and hang over the hangers.
